There is a big difference between moving in the direction of what you want and being so blind you don’t notice the flow of abundance that you could easily step into.
“I’m going to make it happen” is what a blind person says. The Matrix likes this approach because it takes you out of your body and sticks your awareness in your mind, opening you up to be controlled on every level.
That sounds like fun!
“How can I position myself in the flow of the good things I want to see in my business and my life?” is a much more powerful and effective question to ask.
That’s not an approach based on chasing, it’s an approach based on watching, listening, thinking, serving and BEING.
It might not be an effective approach at the beginning though. Just like you’re not very effective the first time you go out to try anything new.
This is a skill you practice. Seeing the flow and positioning yourself in the middle of it. Can you think of any reason the Matrix indoctrination camps don’t teach kids how to do this in school?
My son learned this lesson because we didn’t subject him to any external contamination that taught him anything to the contrary. (He quit school the day after they said he couldn’t paint with the colors he wanted to use. I think he was five years old.)
In fact, I think his exact words to my wife the other day were, “the less I work the more I make.”
What a lazy boy. That’s what the Matrix would say. He should really get with the program and learn how the world works so he can be miserable like everyone else! How dare he work an hour a day (or less?) and have those 23 other hours to live life as he chooses! This is what’s wrong with the world!
Ha. What a blessing it is to see your children never have to deal with the brainwashing and programming that we grew up carrying and still carry even to this day.
While there is deep meaning to be found in creating for the benefit of yourself and others, I’m not sure that “hard work” isn’t the biggest artificial obstacle to most people’s success.
We’ve been trained to be willing to work too hard. Take a little bit of insecurity, a slightly Puritanical view of the world, throw in a bit of guilt and compromised self-worth, maybe a dash of religion with an extra helping of shame and you’ve got someone willing to put their nose to the grindstone for 30 years before they look up and realize life just flew by while they weren’t paying attention.
Oops.
Is the Universe working for you or against you? Choose an answer to that question and then you can get on with living that answer.
If you believe life is supposed to be hard, I imagine that’s what you’ll get.
If you believe that success in business means you have to blow up your family relationships or sacrifice “everything” to see your dreams come true, I’m pretty sure you can live that nightmare too.
Whatever you want, you can do it. Just know you might be living a projection that may or may not be the truth for you.
You can feel the right answer in your gut. The question is whether or not you’re brave enough to live your answer.
That’s really what the world needs. Fewer cowards and more people willing to honor their own truth and live in alignment with that.
I’m sure you can still get fabulously wealthy and successful. But who knows, I don’t make the rules here!
You don’t get any points for choosing to follow YOU. In fact, a choice like this might cause a complete and sudden transformation of every level of your life and business. In my experience, this isn’t always gentle!
But at least you’ll get the life you’re here to live instead of going through the motions to fulfill a dream that was never even really yours.
