If you wouldn’t buy you, it’s crazy to expect someone else to.
When we offer our products and services, we think that’s the thing our customers and clients are buying.
In almost every business, with a few rare exceptions, they’re not just buying your product or service…they’re literally buying YOU.
Maybe that means your worldview, or the set of ideals you hold to be valuable, or the way you solve problems, or the specific way you offer your solution.
So you can’t really extract yourself from the sale.
And that means the FIRST sale has got to be to yourself.
The first sale is always to yourself. Has that sale been made?
If so, the rest is just details. Details about crafting your message, systematizing its delivery, managing the processes for sifting and sorting qualified from unqualified, and then putting the right solutions in front of the people you serve.
What does it mean to sell yourself on you?
It means that you believe the value is without limit. What would that feel like to believe that?
Can you believe that?
Is this silly? To play make believe like this?
Not really. Belief is powerful. It powers every religion on the planet.
The one thing every religion has in common is that each one’s followers believes IT is the only way to go.
That couldn’t possibly be true. Everyone CAN’T be right. So what IS true? I have no idea!
But what makes it true for the people in the religions?
Belief makes it true. BELIEF is the power that changes lives. It is the force that makes everything move.
If you can use your power of belief for others, why can’t you also use it for YOU?
Do you believe in you?
No child comes earthside NOT believing in himself. And that means, if you don’t believe in you, your initial condition has been altered.
Conditioning, trauma, stories about life experiences, overt programming from the Matrix. There are a lot of reasons to not believe in yourself. And you have to choose whether or not you accept them.
