By this point, I can be pretty confident that all you need to do to make smart choices in life is to look at what the Matrix tells you to do in any particular situation and do the opposite.
In school, the Matrix communicates the importance of knowing.
- What’s the capital of Egypt?
- How many square feet are in an acre?
- What do you get when you combine one oxygen atom and two hydrogen atoms?
What’s the answer? Slaves are supposed to know.
The consistency of this training has a purpose. And it is not to fill your head with facts. It is to develop your addiction to knowing. And to normalize your habit of chuckling at those who don’t.
Is this a smart way to run your life? To focus on knowing things?
Maybe, but not if we’re following our Golden Rule of the Matrix…which is that everything you’re told there is about controlling you, poisoning you or just killing you outright.
So what if, instead of making the goal to KNOW things, the goal is really to not know anything?
The sheep would call you stupid.
But if you’ve ever tried this, if you’ve ever realized the expansion that occurs when you give up the need to know and truly embrace the state of not knowing…then you understand what happens.
The need to know disappears and the ability to BE is activated.
The Matrix doesn’t consider BEING an active state. It trains its slaves to think the same way.
That’s why some word or phrase pretty much always follows the word “being” in the Matrix vernacular:
- Stop being lazy.
- Start being focused.
- Can you be on time?
In the Matrix, there is no such thing as JUST BEING.
Why?
Because BEING is dangerous. Putting your mind in its least excited state opens the door to what is actually REALITY.
It allows you to connect your individual self with the ALL THAT IS part of you. It opens a flow of energy from the omniscient to your individual point of expression of that omniscience on this plane.
And THAT is not a pasture into which the sheep are allowed to venture.
If you’ve never experienced this, then I dare say you have not yet felt what it is to LIVE.
It is an experience that is waiting out there for all of us to have at any moment, or in every moment.
It is the place of not knowing, of being, of true power.
And once you understand how to connect with that, there is nothing else you will ever need to “know.”
