When it comes to creating material success doing what you love, you need a way to deliver value to the world that maximizes the exchange that is created based on your effort.

Figuring out exactly what that looks like is not always so easy.

  • First, you have to understand yourself. Who you are, what makes you tick, and what you are here on this plane to accomplish.
  • Next, you have to connect the dots between YOU, what value you can bring to the world, and how to package that value so it is in service to a select portion of humanity. This has to be offered in a way where you can also create material success.
  • Finally, you have to figure out the structure and processes of the business that will reach out to strangers, turn them into future customers and clients and make it easy for the right people to say YES to what you are offering.

All at once, all on your own, it can feel like a lot to figure out.

During the 30 days of the Sovereign Business Launchpad, we will work through all of the things required to get your business off the ground, or to transform your existing business into something that can generate new levels of success.

This journey is part self-study, part working one-on-one with me.

If you are building a business from scratch, this will help you get things off the ground.

If you want to refine, refocus or reinvent a successful business that already exists, this will help you move to a whole new level.

What We Do and When

The Sovereign Business Launchpad is a four week process where we work together through mindset, marketing, systems and the products and services in your business.

If you are unclear about what the next step is for you, you can expect that lack of clarity will no longer be an issue at the end of this.

The Launchpad consists of four self-study modules (including my help and support for questions and other issues) and two 30 minute phone conferences, one at the beginning of our work, and one at the end.

Throughout the entire process, you will have the ability to contact me for help and support with any questions or issues you encounter.

KICK-OFF PHONE CONFERENCE:

Our work begins with a 30 minute phone conference where I’ll ask you questions about who you are, what you want to do, the goals you’re trying to achieve and what’s standing in your way.

MODULE 1:

The day after our phone conference, I will send you the first content module. Module one will focus on developing the mindset that is required for this journey. This is not about “positive thinking,” this is about understanding how to tune and focus your capacity for creation.

MODULE 2:

Module two will focus on your position in the marketplace. What do you do, for whom, and why? Are you already providing a one-of-a-kind solution and experience to customers and clients? Are you clear about what makes you different at a deep level?

MODULE 3:

Module three focuses on the systems you use to attract clients and customers. This will include a detailed overview of constructing a marketing system that works as well as working through the other areas of your business systems that develop prospects into clients and customers. (You will have the ability to contact me for help and support with any questions or issues you encounter.)

MODULE 4:

Module four focuses on how best to present your solutions in the form of products and services. Are you a “made to order” consultant who does whatever a client asks? Is it best to “productize” your services and work with only those who want THAT? How should you position and package the products you sell? We’ll dig into the possibilities for structuring your offerings so you move well beyond doing what everyone else in your industry is doing.

WRAP-UP PHONE CONFERENCE:

We will end our work by reviewing progress, clarifying any parts of your “next step” action plan that are not obvious to you. We’ll dig into any remaining mindset or energetic issues and make sure you are clear about your path you will walk in the weeks and months after we’re done.

If you’re just getting started, you’ll get to the end of the Sovereign Business Launchpad with your business strategized, designed and planned out.

If you’re already in business, you’ll end the Launchpad with a reinvention plan for taking it to a new level of success.

And you’ll be getting help and direction from from someone (me) who’s had a hand in selling many tens of millions of dollars of products and services throughout the world.

Enrollment in the Sovereign Business Launchpad is $997. Due to the hands-on nature of this work, space is extremely limited.

To my coach Jason,

Right about the time I began production on my first back end product, I took your advice and started a platform – a weekly podcast.

Once per week I sat down and took four hours to do what should’ve taken one hour – outline, script, record, edit, upload, write, and schedule an email telling my audience the broadcast was ready.

I didn’t make a huge deal about getting my customers to sign up for my podcast, because I knew neither how successful it would be, or even if I would continue the podcast beyond the sales test of my first back-end product’s introduction. Still, I was able to sign up about 23% of my total customers – approximately 1800 people – to my podcast email notifications.

After creating the first few episodes, my listenership declined to around 700 people. I was highly discouraged! I felt as though the market was shouting at me that they did not want my podcast! However, by the time episode 10 came around, I was back up to about 2400 listeners every week.

And then came episode 14 – when I was finally ready to sell my first back end info product. This product cost $97.

Let me also add that by this point in the platform journey, I was very tired of putting my podcast together. Even though I had streamlined, it still took me at least 2.5 man hours of work per week to get an episode up. I was almost hoping that the platform would not prove effective, so that I could throw in the towel and not feel bad about it!

And so: I set up my big launch test.

To my platform, I was going to record a special edition of the podcast that would focus on the problem that my new back end product solved, then ending the 15 minute podcast with a five-minute blurb all about the new product and how excited I was to offer it to them. Not much of a sales campaign by most Internet standards! But by this point in the journey, even if I didn’t particularly enjoy building my platform, I had enough respect for my podcast listeners to know that bombarding them with emails was simply not an option. I had talked to too many of them – they were real people whose time I respected. This audience was about 2500 people.

To the remainder of my customer list – those who did NOT sign up for my platform, I planned a regular email style sales campaign. You should also know that I did nothing to keep up a relationship with this audience of non-podcast listeners. I respected their choice to not be communicated with, and I placed my faith in the hope that they would remember me and the product they originally purchased from me whenever I was ready to try to sell them something new. The size of this audience was 9600 people.

I sent out the 14th episode of my podcast, and I hit “send” on the first email in my campaign to the big non-listener list. And I promptly shut off all my electronic devices and went grocery shopping! Lunches are just too darn stressful 🙂

I wasn’t sure what to expect: Jason, through all of your strategic coaching, and in all of our weekly pep talks, you encouraged me to keep up with building a platform saying that you were positive the platform was the surest way to guarantee successful back end sales down the road. I didn’t want to believe it – it was so much work!

But two weeks later, the results are crystal-clear:

Products sold to the 2500 podcast listeners? 433 copies of my latest program.

Product sold to the gigantic list of 9600 previous customers? 114 copies sold.

Unbelievable!

Back in May, I found myself in a very strange place in my copywriting career.
